Winter warmer vegetable soup
This tasty soup will help keep you warm and boost your immune system!
Start by frying together in coconut oil or butter:
A small handful of fresh sage leaves
2-3 cloves of garlic
Chop-up and add the following:
A bunch of soup celery – stalks and leaves
A bunch of leeks
Mushrooms – a variety of mushrooms including wild mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms if you like them
2-5 large carrots
Let it simmer until everything is cooked.
Add some Herbamare salt or a top quality tamari sauce if you like it more salty.
Sweet potatoes or butternut could be added for more sweetness.
Put in a blender to make a creamy soup for kids or have it chunky as it is.
